Okay, confession: I’m a little obsessed with character creation.

And when I couldn’t find a template that really captured all the things I love to think about (like flaws, backstory, relationships, and even how a character moves), I decided to make one myself.

And so, I’m super excited to announce The Ultimate Character Blueprint, a fillable guide to help you build rich, memorable characters from the ground up. This is your step one, your blank canvas. It’s meant to help you figure out who your character really is, from their role in the story to the small habits that make them feel real.

And this is just the start! I’m already working on more character guides that will dive deeper into specific areas like relationships, emotional arcs, and internal conflict.

I’ve always loved creating random characters in totally random genres and settings, sometimes just for fun, and sometimes to explore an idea that won’t leave me alone.
